I thought the same thing for years…after all, he does kinda sorta have a gay man’s lisp…Besides that, he is still one of the smartest people to ever come out of the punk rock scene. The guy is an absolute genius when it comes to social issues and our 1st amendment rights.

It all goes back to money. The rest of DK didn’t really do much with their lives after DK slowed down, but Jello remained active and made a life for himself sans punk music. If you do a wikipedia search about DK and Jello, you will find a pretty comprehensive explanation about what REALLY happened. I can see why the band would want money, but I can also see why Jello would want to keep his music out of evil corporation’s hands…i.e, Guitar Hero and Dockers.
