ads for interior designers on google adwords?

Which is the best budget and day limit & any other things you know on google adwords? I want to advertise my Business in NY. Which ways for interior designers advertising are best?

You might want to submit a local business listing to Google. This will give you the opportunity to come up in the map listings when they show on your queries.

Then Google for [local seo] or [google maps optimization] for info on how to optimize your listing. Just submitting it probably won’t cause it to show for any competitive queries.

Or, visit my company’s website (ionadas local) as optimization of Google Maps is what I do!

Who has used google Adwords? What should be the best daily budget? How to increase clicks and sales?

I am using the google Adwords but not attracting a lot of clicks. How should I improve the key words and daily budget to attract more sales? Please give me your advice and experience. Thanks.

The easiest ways:
With adwords, is simple. You must bid high on the beginning, like for the top or second position.
This way you will get more clicks (although more expensive) but you will rank better on relevancy, and quality score.

After just a few days you will check that the minimum bid needed for a specific keyword had been lowered. For instance, let’s say you advertise on the keyword youtube. You would want to deactivate content network ads this time…

Now let’s say that the youtube keyword minimum bid is 1 dollar. The guy on the top position is biding about $ 1.5
You shall bid 1.55 (leave some cents margin) for let’s say, 3 or 4 days. At the end of day 3-4 you will see that the minimum bid have dropped to 80 cents. You can now lower your bid to 1.45 and still be in the top position due to quality score.

the whole process repeats itself until the minimum bid for that keyword reaches 20 cents. This way, you can bid 35 cents for that keyword, and still be on the top position, while the other guy is biding 1.50 and in the second place.

I’ve tested this way several times, with all keywords. Working the quality score is very important. Use smaller groups of keywords and ads and monitor closely. Remove keywords and put them into different ad groups if they do not perform to get the good ad groups well positioned. Bid higher initially to get a ‘forced higher CTR%’. Then gradually lower your bids and hope that your position maintains. But this might take weeks to slowly lower it till you’re paying real low bids & still getting good positions.

One trick is really to tweak your Adcopy to make it look interesting. There have been documented examples, that between a well-written ad vs a unique ad, usually the unique ad wins. (not across all markets!)

How do I know which words/ads are most successful on Google AdWords/Analytics and how much they cost me?

I’m using lots of keywords and several campaigns in Google AdWords. How can I tell in Google Analytics which ones are helping me accomplish Goals and at what rate?

Please walk me through step-by-step where I need to look in Google Analytics.

Thank you!

You have to make sure that you have Google Conversion tracking installed and running. Should be under "Tools" in your account. What is your goal? Sales, PR?
Google Analytics will give you an idea what people are doing on your site, how do they navigate, where they are coming from etc.

When buying google adwords could you use a subdirectory as your site?

I’m selling some foreign attire on my website. I would like to buy some adwords for say shoes and have it go to a subdirectory such as www.mysite.com/shoes and do the same with other things like say watches would go to www.mysite.com/watches and not go to my www.mysite.com directly. I would have better success if it went straight to the subdirectory. Is this possible does google allow it?

yes you can do that

Google AdWords??

I Have google adwords on my website and i am currently redesigning it big time and i was just wondering if i could put the same ad into 100′s of pages or do i have to get seperate code for each page???
cheers
yes sorry its ad sense
cheer for that

You use the same general code that you have – you don’t have to apply again to Google Adsense.

However, to make it easy for you to track how your pages are performing, especially those of the same topic, I suggest you learn about CHANNELs and how to use it. With channels, you can group your pages together by topic or whatever configuration you like, or even create channels for specific pages (e.g. a separate channel for the homepage). You can also create a separate channel by ad format — e.g. medium rectangle, skyscrapers, etc — so you can find out the best ad position and format to use.

Channels are great for learning which pages or topics bring in the most revenue, or which gives you the best click through. The information can make it easier for you to configure each page if a page is not performing as well as you expected.

You can learn about Channels from the Adsense Help pages

What is google adwords and how does it benefit your website?

I was wondering if anyone could explain in details about Google Adwords. Do you make money off of it or do you have to pay Google for specific words? What is the best way to make money from advertisements on your website? Where do you find these advertisers?

Google adwords is an advertisement techniqe where you can register an account to google, and after successfull resgistation they will give a pice of html code to put in your website. The google crawlers automativcally identifies the content in you page and display ad according to the contents in your we page. you dont need to pay google anything. Once someone click on the advertisement in your page they will pay you a small % of money. You can accumulate all money and google will send you cheque once it reaches a certain amount.

How Does Google Adwords Differ From Yahoo Local Listings?

I like that Google has local adwords searching within my city limits, but I can’t figure out if Yahoo’s Local search is comparable.

Anyone know how they are similar/different?

They both have similar pay-per-click ad programs. Basically though, Yahoo markets itself not as a search engine, but as an Internet directory. Where as Google is a search engine. Some differences I found when advertising with both of them at the same time.
..  1) Yahoo requires you to put money into your account with them and maintain a balance. Say for instance, your spending about $10/day on advertising clicks. They want (I believe) 3 days worth of funds always in your account ( i.e. $30).

Every time your account goes under that amount, it will automatically debit the credit card you have on file with them to place more funds into the account.
Google allows you to carry a negative balance (like a running tab) with them until your scheduled time of the month to pay your bill.
Then they debt your credit card account. If it looks like your running an extra large tab (mine was every time my bill got over $500), they will go ahead and debt your card to make sure you don’t leave them with the bill.  2) Yahoo gets less traffic then Google. But it isn’t necessarily a problem since you will need to set a maximum daily budget with either of them and you will most likely always reach that amount with either company.

 3) You have to wait for administrative approval of all of your ads with Yahoo, which can sometimes take a few days. With Google, your ads go up right as you submit them and are up in seconds.
Google’s administrators will pull the ads down later if they deem them unappropriated.
This means no waiting for someone to review your work before it’s up and running.  4) One last thing. You may have hard time getting any remaining balance you have in your Yahoo Ad account back after you are done advertising and close the account.

I have been trying for years to call, write, everything to get the $89 that’s still sitting in my closed account sent back to me.
Every time I contact them they say "OK it will be sent to you within 2 weeks" and every time it never does.
This is not a problem with Google as you run a tab with them and they bill you for only what clicks you’ve received.    Hope that info was of some help lol!
