You find out if you really want to advertise. Because advertising is a hard job, and not alot of people will actually want to listen to you, and if they do, they may not actually want to buy whatever you are trying to promote/sell.

So its best to start off seeing if you really want to advertise.

Not to mean but I don't know how you could decide that it's good for you without knowing the answers to those very questions. (And when you graduate it won't be this economy anymore.)

Maketing Degree, or Advertising. Go to college, work a job for experience, then narrow down through that experience, to what you are good at. There are lots of jobs in advertising, if you set yourself up with experience and an education you will find work.
