Where are some good places to market my network marketing business?

September 27th, 2009 by admin

Hello all,
I have become a distributor for a network marketing company that is new to Michigan. I am really excited about it, and so far it is working out way better than I had expected. I spend a lot of time online and I was wondering if anyone knew of some good place for me to advertise my business on line. If you know of any web pages where people would go to look for this kind of thing please let me know.

Thanks, Stan.

Hey Stan, all the answers provided are excellent places and strategies for promotion.

Just be careful to NEVER promote your mlm itself. 99% people out there DON’T need another mlm, they need a system.

You will need to promote the SYSTEM. That is where ALL the money is.

MLM is a giant gold mine. How many strike it rich, finding the elusive gold nuggets? 99% of the time, nobody.

How many make money selling tools to gold-diggers? A much, much higher percentage.

Do yourself a favor and promote the system instead of your mlm. Sell the tools (auto-responders, keyword software, etc) to other distributors of your company, make instant commissions on them fast, don’t wait for your first mlm commission. You’ll wait forever.

The money is all is promoting the system, mlm is just a secondary income stream. Plus if you use a system, signing up distributors in your company can be easier BUT USING A SYSTEM DOESN’T MEAN GUARANTEE SUCCESS, to be honest.

But it does help. A lot.

Promote the system in the front-end, help other fellow distributors with utmost necessary tools that will help them in their mlm business, pocket the instant commissions from selling them and sign up distributors in the back-end.

That is the mlm formula for success that 99% of mlm distributors do not use. Be that smart one percenter.

DO NOT PLUG YOUR MLM, PLUG THE SYSTEM. Don’t be another mlm casualty.

If you are already using one, RIGHT ON! If not, read the sales pitch on this one:

In case I’m repeating myself, THE MONEY IS IN SELLING THE SYSTEM.

Where to learn the Internet marketing basics from?

September 26th, 2009 by admin

I really want to make some extra money working from home and am interested in learning Internet marketing. I currently stay at home with my two little kids but would be able to devote about 25 hours a week to Internet marketing. It’s just that I don’t know where to start. Where do I find some great resources that help me with the Internet marketing basics as all the websites I have come across are not for absolute beginners like me?

When I first got into Internet marketing, I felt the same way that you do. I felt completely overwhelmed until I came across a website by Matt Bacak. He broke down what I should be doing and how to get started with the Internet marketing basics instead of assuming I knew how to find keywords or how to set up a website.

I have now been working from home doing marketing since my son was born about 10 months ago. Like you, I only have time for part-time, around 20 or so hours a week (sometimes less, sometimes more), but I have been able to make at least $1000 a month for the past 4 months just by following the advice I got on www.mattbacak.com.

This month looks like I will actually surpass $1,000 as I got lucky with some great sales a couple of days ago. I have to say, once you learn the basics and find your niche, it is amazing at how successful you can be.

How would you market alcohol if advertising it is prohibited?

September 25th, 2009 by admin

Hello guys – I’ve been posited this question for a media assignment and I’m a little stumped. I’m an English student so media is not my strong point and this is for a media-related subsidary. I guess I have to highlight the difference between marketing and advertising, i.e. does an internet viral or artwork on the underground constitute as advertising? What ways can an alcohol brand have any visibility if advertising is banned? Are there any clever alternatives?

How do I know which words/ads are most successful on Google AdWords/Analytics and how much they cost me?

September 22nd, 2009 by admin

I’m using lots of keywords and several campaigns in Google AdWords. How can I tell in Google Analytics which ones are helping me accomplish Goals and at what rate?

Please walk me through step-by-step where I need to look in Google Analytics.

Thank you!

You have to make sure that you have Google Conversion tracking installed and running. Should be under "Tools" in your account. What is your goal? Sales, PR?
Google Analytics will give you an idea what people are doing on your site, how do they navigate, where they are coming from etc.

What is the best marketing software for a small business?

September 19th, 2009 by admin

I’d like to know what the best marketing software for a small business. What do other people use?

There is a ton of software out there. No software will do everything! You need to decide what you want out of a software program. Some software will hurt your efforts if you do not use it wisely.

The best places to market your business is social sites. They are free and very popular.

If you are are a small business with a local location that consumers come into and not just online then Local marketing online is the way to go ( google local, yahoo local, twitter, facebook, myspace, Customer list very important for email marketing ).

Take the time and find some webinars that will help you look at what type of marketing you need for your business.

I would start with twitter, facebook, and myspace. Then look up keywords that you think a customer would put in google to find your business.

I will be having a free webinar for about 20 people coming up soon on twitter and how to use it for small business.

An excellent example of using Twitter as a marketing tool, as a customer service avenue and as a Community Builder is Zappos.

let me know what kind of business it is and I may be able to be more specific on what tools you can use to promote it.

When buying google adwords could you use a subdirectory as your site?

September 18th, 2009 by admin

I’m selling some foreign attire on my website. I would like to buy some adwords for say shoes and have it go to a subdirectory such as www.mysite.com/shoes and do the same with other things like say watches would go to www.mysite.com/watches and not go to my www.mysite.com directly. I would have better success if it went straight to the subdirectory. Is this possible does google allow it?

yes you can do that

What subsections should be included in a Marketing Strategy to re-brand and increase sales of 1 branch?

September 16th, 2009 by admin

I need to write a marketing plan for one facility within a care company which is underperforming compared to the others. One reason is due to poor branding and attracting the wrong clients. What elements should I include to denote the rebranding of the centre and potentially alter the target market in peoples minds, and increase its revenue?

Your question is rather generalized and vague as to what aspects you are looking for.

Going solely by what you have written in your initial question, I see that you have a pretty good grasp of the problem. Restate your main question, even to yourself, and be as specific as possible. What do you mean by elements and subsections? The more specific you are, the more you will find your own answers.

Generally, your marketing strategy should state your unit’s mission and objectives, your target market (a description of user types, model user, demographics, income, geographic area, education, age, status, etc.), budget, and the four Ps (Price, Product, Place, Promotion) or your marketing mix.

Answer the following questions: What is wrong with your current branding? What are the right and wrong clients? How will you reach the right clients? What is your message? What networks (friends, referrals) do your ideal clients or users use to reach you? Is it easier to reach these networks than the general public.

Once you have done some basic work on these issues, you can determine, along with your budget, what your appropriate advertising and promotion efforts should become (e.g. press release, radio, posters, logo, icons, slogan, news article, letter to the editor, banners, fliers, website, email lists, newsletter, face-to-face, etc.).

Keep in mind, the target of your message may differ from your target market. If your clientele reaches you mainly through referrals, you may want to target those who refer, rather than the ultimate users. This can be both cheaper and more effective.
