Where should I start for a career in Advertising?

It wasn’t until this year that I became interested in this. I’m a junior in high school so I’d like to know exactly where to start. I’m not really looking to work in the creative and artistic side of advertising, instead im looking towards something more like organizing ad campaigns.What college should I go to? Should I be taking any special elective at school that might help me out? Please help! I wanna start as soon as possible.

I’m working in adv and I develope and coordinate promotional Campaigns. I actually work in Direct Marketing and I organize Direct Marketing promotional campaigns.

I recommend you to attend a Marketing or Communications specialisation. I not mandatory but will help you to get the job and understand all you have to do.
