What are some good advertising ideas for a massage therapist?

My girlfriend is a licensed massage therapist and just started her own business. She needs advise on advertising. What are some tips she could use? What should she do?

Suggestions:
1. She should join an online forum for massage therapists she can pick up a lot of ideas there. (e.g. www.massage.meetup.com and choose her location from there)
2. She should also join industry associations or log into their websites so she can subscribe to their newsletters and feeds. (e.g. AMTA, NCMTCB, etc.)
