    I remembered this commercial back in the day when I was only like 9 and I still remember it. I don’t normally say this but : Great job for the ad agency that did this job!!!

    In my opinion- THE BEST quality cassettes out there! All of the tapes I used and recorded on in the 70′s and 80′s have held up very well and still sound awesome! There were a lot of imitators (Memorex), but they all were inferior!

    Actually this ad dates all the way back to 1979 (the voice over has a distinct 70′s sound to it) but it was used well into the 80′s.

    I also remember this ad very well… I was the same age and used to love the commercial. Strangely, a few years later it seemed that my tape deck liked to chew up Maxells.
