    This will improve …
This will improve user experience with google ads as they will be viewing more relevant google adverts. We might also see a rise in click through rates for google adsense publishers. Not sure whether this will increase the number of accounts that are being smart priced ? As higher CTR does not necessarily mean higher conversion rates.

It would be good if …
It would be good if I could get it to work… I spent about an hour selecting my interests on the google ads preferences page and as soon as I clicked Submit…nothing. It’s probably my anti spyware software deleting the cookie. I think google actually supplies some anti-spyware tools. What about showing ads that people might not know they’re interested in until they learn about it or ads that people can be offended by or simply don’t want? I’d opt for it as long as I had an implicit choice.

    shouldn’t google …
shouldn’t google employees be marked as google employees when posting on a google-owned website?

Every website is tracking you… that’s cookies!
Google is as transparent as it can be with this video and options to opt-out any time!
Congratulations Google, for letting me see more relevant ads.

Wow what the heck. To anyone not so “technically savvy”, this means that google is tracking what you do on the computer without your permission, and selling that information to anyone who wants it. George Orwell is spinning in his grave.

Well, I’m going to disagreed with JMstudioNL on this subject. It does come in handy at times. Not always mind you. From time to time those little bits of text just work.

    I appreciate …
I appreciate Google’s efforts to present relevant advertising. You can always erase cookies if you don’t want this, but I don’t see who wouldn’t want this.

Oh and learn how to use the auto cue, it sucks looking at you.
