I’m a very open minded person and the hest thing from pdue, but I think thier advertisements, while sleek and well shot are incredibly crass and predictable. It’s sort of how Tom Ford was in the later years. I think they also pigeon hole themselves and the consumer by showing that he human body is more important than the clothing.

I think that D and G do these adverts to differentiate themselves – i think they do these weird adverts to try and draw the consumer in by playing on their curiousty, they do that by adding sexualty. Its difficult to explain but i personally think these adverts are pretty distubing!

Well I definitely think that the sex appeal is the main reason lots of people like it. I think it’s a lure to get people to buy their clothes. But I do think that there’s more to the clothes than sex. I’ve seen a few of their collections and a lot of the clothing they have is wearable and original.

Well to answer to your question Yani , I think D&G is just amazing. It brings something new to the fashion world. It’s beautiful , young , sexy and glamourous. It’s a kind of o chic and I think it describe perfectly their costumers’ mood. What’s the luxury ? Sex is a big part of luxury and with their sexual context they show it perfectly. I’m sorry I’ve a big opinion about it but I don’t know how to explain that in english sorry.
